ALL SAINTS CHURCH

Sudbury with Ballingdon and Brundon

Wider Activities

All Saints Church is actively involved in initiatives that support  the local community

and in the mission of the whole Christian Church in Sudbury and further abroad.

THE CHURCH HALL

Our hall, which has good kitchen facilities, is available for parties or meetings and  there is a smaller hall at the back which could be used for smaller functions. Either or both are available for an agreed donation to the Hall fund. (usually a minimum of £10 an hour with a reduction possible for regular use).  There is no music or bar licence and insurance is the responsibility of the hirer.  The main hall can hold up to 100 people: the small hall holds about 20.

Please contact Mrs V Bonner on  Sudbury 373427 for further details.

The Activities of Churches Together in Sudbury and District:

The churches of Sudbury and District co-operate in four annual joint services of celebration. They share in daily prayer during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity and arrange joint activities in Lent. They support work with young people through Eden's in Gainsborough Street and n:vision on the Springlands Estate. They actively support many other initiatives, such as the campaign to preserve adequate health care in the area, and the weekly prayer breakfasts.

The Kettle & Fish at St Peters, Market Hill, Sudbury, is a Christian presence in the centre of the town. It is open most Thursdays from 9.45 am to 2 pm. Here you will find spiritual and physical refreshment. We offer tea, coffee, soup, toast, cakes; Traidcraft Stall; Christian Bookshop; talk with friends; Local Church and other information; Listening Ear, and a Prayer Corner.  Sudbury churches work together to serve the community.

We are part of the national movement Churches Together in England.

Traidcraft is the UK's leading fair trade organisation, fighting poverty through trade. Established in 1979 as a Christian response to poverty, we combine a trading company and a development charity. Our vision is a world freed from the scandal of poverty, where trade is just, and people and communities can flourish.

Traidcraft pioneers the development of fair trade by:
• building lasting relationships with small-scale producers in developing countries
• supporting people to trade out of poverty
• working to bring about trade justice
• being open and transparent about our practices.
